  How many decades/centuries before 1914 becomes irrelevant?

  how long do you think the watchtower can speak about 1914 and have followers think it relevant?

  i think for people born in the 1900's, it feels like an acceptable year.

  but what about those born since 2000, will 1914 seem like a year of relevance?

  By what year would the majority of believers have fallen away, because 1914 is just to distant to make any sense?

  That question, or a variant of it, is a definitive 'must' to ask any elder, circumstances permitting.

  Was there not also a 100 year period in the OT that Freddie did away with? Maybe it is to be added on after all.

  one minute i'm believing completely in god and in jesus christ, and in the next instance i'm questioning all religious systems in general.

  i think i'm just lacking faith, but then in the back of my head i'm wondering if i've just been so indoctrinated and deluded...that i can't imagine living without considering that there is a god to be worshiped, or that i need to worship god in order to be happy.

  i don't know how full-blown atheists or full blown christians do it either way.

  we all know that beth hell monitors this site.. they have repeatedly had sites shut down for quoting large portions of their litterature.

  not this one.. do you think this board enables them to keep a finger on the pulse of what is going on in ex and aposto land?

  Listener >> The video is more like a play where the actors are pretending to present a news report.

  You must be right - no caption text on who is who. The whole interview is like being staged between two 'brothers'.

  I guess the press was not so interested in the story line, so they made up their own press tagline.

  And the faithful start believing their own press.
